Dear friend,
Its not about which instrument you use. Its about the concept of processing the data. Firstly you need to identify the closest projection scale factor of 1. This actually means that this point is having the least convergence and least error. The more the convergence the more the error and the projection scale factor will deviate from the value 1. So try to convert all the values near to 1 using basic mathematics, by keeping the closest point as the reference, with this adjustment you will be getting the better results. You will need to verify what I am about to write.
I believe this will work if your project is of limited extent. Do not choose any standard projection because they all are meant to cover some significant area.
I thin if you do not choose a projection from the list in TBC you will be given a local tangential TM projection. When you enter your points an origin coordinate will be assigned. I also think you may alter it to fall near the center of your project..
If this works as I imagine, your scale factors will be nearly 1.000. Experiment.
Bottom line is there is NO way to flatten an orange peal without tearing it. Double check you specs to see if picking a compromise "project scale factor" that is sufficiently precise enough for the project in question.

It will be available within the post processing software given along with GPS. In the software there will an option to create any point as central meridian. if you select that option then all the scale factors gets automatically corrected with the referenced point as selected for central meridian.Creating any point as central meridian means that the scale factor of that particular value will be taken as 1, with reference to this all the other scale factors will change automatically. you need to just identify a point in your surveyed data, that which is very close to 1 and then select that point for central meridian

why do you want to use a scale factor of 1.0000000?
Because i need one scale factor for all bench mark. Now i have Ex: 0.998899 between BM1 and BM2, But between BM4 and BM5 i have the 0.9981999
Thank you Mi link for your reply, but actually i don't have any problem with Leveling to use a digital level.
My problem is in Scale Factor.

Dear Mr. Asgar,
I suspect it is due to your choosing a projection and reading a shown distance along a line.
When I inverse between two points TBC produces two distances. One along the ellipsoid and one along the ground (mean height of two points).
One place to check your data is online at the NGS website geodetic tools. There are Inverse, Forward, Inverse3D, and Forward3D. It might help you discover the source of your question.
