Enjoy, explore and contribute to our community....a living library of land surveying which is not controlled by 3rd party interests- it is controlled by you, the surveyor. No one else in the world aside from our community members catalogs changes in the surveying industry. No one else collects, curates and showcases the importance of land surveyors to society for future generations to learn from and to promote public awareness of this importance. It takes just a few moments per week to curate a rock solid legacy in surveying but every minute you spend sharing your experience will breathe ten years of life into the profession.

I love the days that you sweep through here and straighten everyone out... you truly are an inspiration Mr. Cavell. The surveying world sure is lucky that you chose it as your profession.
Hi Mr. Cavell, Just want to say hi,I have work in LA.a few times. Most of the time was on the Mississippi River for the Corps. of Eng. , but in 1978,1979 i did a dredging project on the G I W W.on the Grand River,Bayou Sorrel,Bayou Grosse Tete and Bayou Plaquemine , and i live in Plaquemine. SO not to far of Stick Red. I enjoyed the time i spent there and even had a peroy made for me, love that boat.and saw the largest cotton mouths, one was big as a Dragon. Any way just wanted to say hi and you have a good day sir. Thank you for your time.
