Land Surveyor

Hello everybody,

My name is Beni, I am a newbie and nice to meet everybody here. I am a survey manager of a Railway company. However, this is the first MRT line in my country, so that I cannot know how to import my project alignment to Total station TS16. I am appreciated if you can help me to solve this matter.

Also, please refer to the attached for a sort distance for example of my project alignment.

Thank you so much in advance.

    Hi Beni,

You will most likely need something like the Rail App for Captivate, if you don't already have it.  It will be an extra $$.

The best way I have found to deal with alignmnets is to create them in Civil 3D, exprt and .xml file and impart that into the Leica software, but there are multiple options.  See this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SIEZhU2Ub4

I highly recommend downloading a copy of the CS20 Captivate simulator to test your files with in the office.

I believe that Leica Infinity has an add in for rail alignments if your using leica software and civil 3d.

      Dear Kurt,

Yes, I also have autocad civil 3D but I still don't know how to use both (rail mudule of leica captivate and autocad civil 3D). Could you give me a guidance for them?

      Thanks a lot.
