Hi folks,
Can anyone tell me how to make my Pentax R-325N and my MicroSurvey 2010 talk the same language regarding Eastings - Northings or Northings - Eastings. Here in Scotland (UK of course) we have the former standard. The Pentax records data E-N but when I transfer the data to the CAD software it always has the N - E option enabled with the wrong coordinates.
Pulling my Elvis Hair Out Now !!
Anyone got any fixes ??

Thanks for that, it appears that the Pentax collects data on the PN,E,N,Z format and the MicroSurveyPN, N,E,Z,
I just have remember and change the data within the software.
Settings, settings, settings. Both on the equipment if possible and in the software you use to download to..... Let us know if you find the setting. I have the option on my software to bring in the points using the PNEZD format. Sound like your instrument uses the PENZD format. Point number, East, North, Elevation, Description Z=Elevation comes from the work Zenith (reference direction up or down from x-y or East-North.
