It was so easy to read,it will be decimals of grads always not like degrees ,minutes and seconds,
That is metric system, 360 circle in degrees = 400grads ,thats all
Convert to hectares instead of acres for area measurement.
Very easy to manipulate ,go for it!
I learnt imperial system till I was 16. I have been metricated now since 1970. but a lot of countries still have a mix of both. Give me hectares and metric any day. I remember working in an architects office when I left school and we were making our own scale rules that were a conversion from imperial to metric. Then when I worked for the Rhodesia Railways I discovered survey plans with Cape Feet as a slightly different measurement to a standard english foot. I wonder what the Chinese use. I will ask one of my survey buddies at work on the local council. He is chinese. Good topic Lalith.Ā
I remember learning about grads at College. Where I think there was 100Ā° in a rightangle. Does any one use this system of measurement or is it purely military?
