Ever since migration from the old platform (man, am i glad that is over...) we have been continuously updating our Directory of Community Hubs inside Land Surveyors United ... This downloadable pdf is our first stage of what is soon coming. Open this document (while logged into the community) and simply Join/Follow Hubs based on your Location, Type of Equipment, Surveying Interests, Type of Surveying and what you would like to learn from the surveying community. The hubs you follow will serve as the hubs you can contribute content to as well as receive updates when new posts or content is added.
Every land surveyor in the community will have a unique mix of Hubs they are members of. For example, you may be a Land Surveyor who lives in Florida and uses Leica equipment and 3D scanners. You'd most likely want to join the Florida Land Surveyors Hub, the Leica Hub and the 3D Scanner hub. Surveyors who work a lot with Spreadsheets and software would want a different mix of hubs to follow.
Gone are the days that you receive a new email everytime anything happens on the site. From this point forward you will only receive updates from those hubs that you follow. Choose your hubs inside the PDF or visit https://landsurveyorsunited.com/hubs to find all hubs. Simply click any [ Join/ Follow] button for the Hubs you would like to be included in...Download the PDF for quick reference...
Please Note: Hubs are only for Logged In Land Surveyors United Members so if you do not have a profile, you can quickly create it here: https://landsurveyorsunited.com/main/authorization/signUp?
Sharing and organizing your Land Surveying Legacy has now become easier and more useful to other members for reference. Hubs tie everything about a topic together. All community Hubs have a dedicated Forum, Photos, Videos, Blogs and more. Asking questions or sharing tips inside a hub is a more targeted way of receiving feedback and finding help....or sharing your tips and tricks with the community.
Coming next week we will be releasing a New dynamic Hubs App for members to use in the field. You can also find the Surveyor App Suite at https://landsurveyorsunited.com/apps
