Land Surveyor

Best survey of my life to date was a over 18 thousand acre boundary survey. Its started at the beginning of the Alligator River in a place called Gum Neck, NC. Look on a NC map for the frying pan that's where it is. Long story short even the bees and birds thought I was another animal. Was told no one had been in this place for 100 years, not sure about that part. Two things more than others stuck out. 1 Mama bear and her cub will walk right by you while taking your hip boots off. 2 Water Moccasins don't grow large? Throw average size out the window there's monsters some places. Might sound strange but didn't want this survey to end. Some places since its tidal you couldn't cut what small trees were around you to build a walking bridge on foot had to drag a small boat when the tide was up. Some areas boat only, property corners an emblem on the trunk of a car, no idea how that came about. Could go on and on. I miss them days and this place wish could go back and do it again.
