Looking at the virgin forest in the back ground of your picture, you will be cutting all day long. don't worry, you'll get a killer forearm like a tennis player LOL.
At best you can cross your fingers and hope you can do JT Henwoods idea. otherwise it's like the other guys said. Cut Cut Cut.

Just think Guys, I think it was around 1971 the first total station was used ,so it hasn't been that many years, we all did this,should I say the old way. But it got done.

Joseph, Did you or did you not say, you have no Total Station ? Please tell us what kind of Instrument you have. Are you surveying with a steel tape or tapes for your distances,because if you are, kudos to you. I have been there and done that. Yep, in a jungle. Then its back to the basics my friend, just keep a eye out for the snakes and is that a dam you help build behind you ?
