Student Surveyor

Hello everyone,

I used a Trimble R8 5800 GNSS Receiver to perform measurements on a geodetic network which was established in order to monitor a landslide. Since there will be carried out multitemporal measurements, I need to calculate the error ellipses for the control points that are being monitored. The specific GNSS receiver exports an .htm formatted survey report which I have uploaded here. Can someone please help me create the error ellipses? I also have in my disposal the Trimble Business Center software (version 3.4), in case it is needed.

Thank you very much in advance for any help!

P.S. If someone knows of any academic papers regarding this matter please refer them to me.

    Dear Mr. Argyropoulos,

You said you have SBC. Have you run your data through a network adjustment? SBC can display error ellipses on the adjusted data.

Thank you very much for your reply! I tried to run it through SBC, but it cannot identify the coordinate system for some reason. I checked the coordinate system manager and everything was there.

      • GNSS data default is WGS84. Just create a new project, there are tutorials available withe software and online, search for TBC
