Student Surveyor

Hello,

I have been trying to connect a TSC2 controller to my R8 Model 3 receiver with no luck.

Here are the steps I follow:

1. Level tripod and turn receiver on

2. Turn on TSC2, start a new job

3. Go to Configuration, Controller, Bluetooth, Config

4. Under Mode, I check "Turn on Bluetooth" and "Make this device discoverable to other devices"

5. Under Devices, select "New Partneship" and the controller scans for Bluetooth devices.

6. After a few moments, the TSC2 does pick up the signal from the receiver.

7. Back under Devices, I select the correct device ans select ok.

8. This brings me back to the Bluetooth screen where the correct receiver is listed...

Here I leave "Connect to Laser: None" and "Send ASCII Data to: None"

Then I select accept...

On the right side of the screen, after a few moments, I should see that the two devices are reading each other. After 20 seconds or so the TSC2 says the receiver is not recognized...

This is the point where I'm stuck.... Thoughts/ideas?

Thanks,

Nick
