Land Surveyor
Guys and Gals,I was on a work site the other day and I had an inspector following me around. Every shot I took I had to tell him the elevation. The only way I knew how to do this was to either stake out a point or go to the coordinate manager after every shot. Due to the way our office likes points shot I had to go with looking back at the coordinate manager after every shot.Is there a way to view Northing, Easting, and Elevation in Trimble Access while using GPS?

    Barney nailed it.
  • From memory, you can go Menu/Instrument/Position and I believe this will show real-time NEZ. Otherwise, you set your controller to confirm each shot before it records, but don't quote me on this.

I cannot find documentation to setup the GPS to show my coordinates after the shot. How do I setup my data collector to show me this?
  • my friend, wtharever if you are using GPS or TS you can add or see the latest shot details ones you press for the shot *inmediately after, you have to set the program like that.

if you are using robotic it is better and nice, cos the sofware works any time in tracking mode you can see the coordinates in real time even if the prism is moving, there is an screen that allow you to see the coordinates in real time.

    regards,

    Roman Zavala.
