Professional Land Surveyor
Prove You Are a Surveyor by telling us your relationship to surveying in your Surveyor Bio:
I went to college to be a computer programmer, but realized exclusively sitting in front a computer was not for me. I had a friend who's mother was a survey professor and I went to talk to her about the career. I fell in love with the idea of being able to be outside and travel, but still use my natural affinity for computers on a day to day basis. I then proceeded to acquire my B.S. in Spatial Information Systems and my license. I've worked in the Florida Keys, north and south Arkansas, and in south Texas. Each of these areas I have seen beautiful parts of our country and met wonderful people. I am now unemployed and I have started trying to connect with other surveyors looking for work that will allow me to travel.
I have experience with the following
GPS, topographic, boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, GIS, Survey Office, Construction

Our goal for 2020 is to completely eliminate advertisements and banners from the community. In order to do this we are asking for members to donate what they can to help with community expenses and maintenance. Although our member dues currently work on the honor system, as you might imagine, it costs several thousand dollars per year to keep everything growing. Will you donate what you can to help?
