Hello I am trying to use LGO to create a tunneling job for import by Viva Smartworks running on a Leica TS 50 total station. So far I have created 3 XML files  that are successfuly imported by LGO 8.3.0.0.  The problem occurrs when I try to Export the alignments and tunnel profiles from LGO to Viva.  The export fails with the error message:

"Too many features (centerline/stringlines/layers) object with similar name TunnelProfile"

TunnelProfile is a name being used in the tunnel profile xml file.  This is the error screen.

I think that the problem has to do with the tunnel profiles in xsect.xml.  This is the first time that I have tried to do this.

Thank you

John

Sometimes just the first line in the file unreadable? Can you review the file before importing to make sure it looks right?
Also have you tried creating a new project & start from scratch? Maybe somethings corrupted.

I can't import your xcect.xml. Did you try to built tunnel profile instead?? This has worked for me in the past. If you send me the geometry of the x-section I can built dbx for you no problem. HZ and V alignments came in fine with no problems.

Do you have different profiles (X-sections) under one name?
Do they have the same number of elements to assure proper interpolation?

I'm not an expert by no means and lgo is very picky...do you have closed profiles? ( do they begin and end in the same location? We decided to go with Amberg. Let me know how it goes...
Hope this helps. If not I can give you contact to with the right guy from leica.
