  • Wow. I remember when GPS equipment was brand new stuff, the equipment was about the size of a couple of desk top computers, and there were only three satalites up so you could only get a reading a couple of times a day...
    And then when my husband went out on a survey of rail roads in western Nebraska, there were a few times a day when there were not enough satalites above the horizon to make a triangulation...


    Now look at all that junk up there!!!
    • Yes tons of it! At the pace of growth of these constellations we will block out the sun in 10 years. LOL

All Community Hubs inside the community have their own forum for asking specific questions to other surveyors, by location, equipment type, etc.
