Users Manuals for Land Surveyors

Hello.

While searching for a source of downloadable user manuals, I was lucky enough to come across this site. Thank you to whoever started the site, it's a great idea that is long overdue and I hope that activity continues to pick up as more people learn about it.

I recently had a chance to purchase a (barely) used Leica TCR305, but I have not had any luck tracking down a user manual. The Leica home page seems to dead-end with the promotion of new items, and a Google search leads to what appear to be some pretty shady operations. (Or they ultimately end up trying to sell me a used car.) Our local Leica retailer can special order the manual, but before going that route I thought I'd take a shot here and see if anyone knew of a good site to download various survey equipment user manuals. I would also be interested in finding Topcon Hiper GPS manuals.

Any leads would be much appreciated, and I look forward to checking in to see if I can offer something useful in future threads, or learn something from reading whatever topics come up.

        Wow! Thanks for taking the time to do that. I have been away from my connection for a while and just logged in. I'll take some time to wander around the site and hopefully have something useful to offer from time to time.

    gotcha covered... one of the most overlooked search function of google is the filetype:
    here's what i dug up for your Leica ....with a bit more searching-if this doesn't help-i can dig up some more..let me know if this helps you out...

How to use Forums
Our forums on Land Surveyors United are here to be used as much for finding help with problems in the field as the are for you to express your opinions on anything that has to do with land surveying in general. Feel free to share anything that is on your mind, as long as it isn't meant to damage another member's reputation.
