We have a Leica TS 12 Robotic Total Station. This is our first robotic instrument and really like the way the robotics work. The problem is that there are times when we want to use the instrument as we would a conventional total station. The field crew says that the instrument will not do this.

Is anyone out there using their robot as a total station? If so what are some of the particulars.

Thank you,

Dennis O'Neil P.L.S.

  • Turn off the tracking, just use ATR, instrument will pull to target when a shot is taken. You can also forego the the ATR & use as conventional.
