Hello Justin,
How are you? Hope things are well with you and I hope you and yours have a great Holiday Season. Thanks again for everything you do. I got your message about Linked in but I don't find that site user freindly but Thanks anyways. I recently replied to Francisco Gomes post concerning automatic linework generation and would like to send him a Feature Codes Library but could not find the means to do that? Am I missing something?
In any event Thanks Again and its great to be a part of Land Surveyors United!
Paul
Hola Francisco,
Hello Francisco,
Your TSC2 is capable of inputting a Feature Codes Library which is an option to elect when starting a job. The library contains all of your field codes; line work codes and symbol codes. When you take a shot, say Edge of Dirt Road, sample code,EDR...you can start a line by using a line code command such as...EDR_B. Then taking successive shots on the edge of the dirt road including curves until you reach the end where you would enter...EDR_E. For a symbol, say a monument, you just enter the code for a monument...sample code, BM...benchmark....and the symbol will be automatically drawn when downloaded to your TBC, Civil 3D, or Cad provided you have set up your Cad environment. Its called "Field-To-Finish"....look it up...you can find directions on how to set your sysytem up. I've attached a Feature Code Library....Hope this helps...Paul
Thanks.
