Land Surveyor

Where do I look in the MAGNET Field Help manual (magnet_field_v300_help_manual_en.pdf) to configure MAGNET to automatically connect my points on my FC-5000 as I'm doing a topo? In other words, if I look at the map view, I want to see the linework that I've created. Does anyone have a link to the most current version of the MAGNET Field Help manual? I'm wondering if I'm coding my shots correctly. My former FC-250 running TopSURV used "&" codes to define linework. Maybe in MAGNET Field, the screen that appears after a code is entered for the first time contains a field for "&" codes. Will have to investigate that tomorrow!

I gave my question some more thought, which helped me refine my search in the MAGNET Field Help manual.

If the code type is Line or Area, an icon will display that the point
belongs to a line or area. Set a string and, if required, a control code.

Up to two control codes can be specified for every code associated with
a point to store the points which will be connected to form open or closed
    polylines.

See page 196 for the supported control codes of line behavior.
