I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Drew and my company is Basic Industries. We make wooden stakes for the erosion and sediment control industry and have made a name for ourselves as a customer service driven provider with high quality product and quick turn around times.
I started the company in late 2014 because there was a lack of service on the stake suppliers in our area. I had the idea of focusing on wood stakes and not treating it as a 'bonus' business. They are a basic product, yes. But the stakes are essential to a lot of peoples primary job.
I joined this group because we have been rapidly growing and just made a jump to expand our manufacturing and facilities to include survey stakes/lath.
I will post again about information that would be helpful as we gear up to provide our services and products to the land survey industry. I appreciate any information about the products you currently use. What you like, what you don't. Any information on volumes and desired improvements would be appreciated also.
