      • Well Raymond,   you asked and you shall receive,  Kinematic and pseudokinematic GPS both require that the data collected is temporarily stored until the field work is completed. the data then is processed  to obtain positions, Real Time Kinematic , RTK,  as implied  by it's name, enables positions to be determined  instantaneously when taken. It still requires two are more receivers be operated at the same time and that radio modems are used. One receiver  occupies reference point talks to the rover or roving or rovers units the GPS measurements from both receivers are processed  in real time factors for that unit. this was the new kid on the block at one time. I will give you the same link that i gave Hank .this is ten lessons in GPS one lesson is on RTK  It goes over how to get some redundancy through double occupying and other methods,   all ten lessons are good to know, plus a link to chapter 5 Land Surveying and GPS, this also has good links to need to know info.

Programs and conversions. are also included.  Survenator also included some good material for you to go over this is a lot of info. Get busy. my Friend.
