Hi,
I will probably need to go to Dubai for making a precision monitoring survey on a construction site.
Since I prefer not to bring my total station from Italy, I will need to rent a high precision total station there (1" at least, but 0.5" would be more suitable). Have anyone already rented any topographic equipment in Dubay and can you suggest me whom I should contact? (Sokkia and Leica are my favourite choices).

afternoon last time I was in Dubai I was working for a company called MAPS based in Sharja, just round the corner from Dubai. a guy called rodger is who I used to deal with, they have loads of gear, failing that there are a number of survey equipment companies to rent from who specialise in leica and trimble.look them up on the internet.
