    Short answer is "No".Because when getting reading using both faces we minimized different set of errors rather then sighting errors,reading errors (which minimized when double sighting)as mentioned by Mr.Senanayake.

    I think if u doing Double Faced Readings ,double sighting is not necessary because Double Faced Readings method minimized all the errors including sighting errors and reading errors.

  • Sighting errors,readig errors different,colimation errrs also minimized by taking face left and face right readings,minimum sets of readings will have to deside according to the accuracy required...
