Not a Surveyor

Introduction

Hello everyone! My name is Russell White. I live in Unionville, Tennessee which is about an hour South of Nashville. I am a Surveyor Intern (Arkansas' LSIT) and have also passed the Principles and Practice exam. I am currently attempting to pass the Tennessee State Specific 2 hour exam and not having very much luck, good luck that is. I am a contract employee at Kimley-Horn & Associates out of the Nashville office. I have about 12 years experience in boundary, topography, construction staking, right-of-way, and easement surveys. I also have 8 years of working CAD experience with such programs as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011, Carlson Civil/Survey 2010, and SolidWorks 2012 Premium. My field equipment experience contains such instruments as Trimble GeoXH 6000 GPS, Leica SmartPole GPS, Topcon Hiper-Lite GPS, Magellan Thales Pro 500 GPS, Leica 1205+ Robotic Total Station, Topcon 802A and QS Robotic Total Station, and various data collection softwares as TDS Survey Pro, Carlson SurvCE and TerraSync.

I am actively seeking a seminar or class to help me pass the TN state exam. I would greatly appreciate any links or information on such.

In the present role at KHA, I am inventorying Outdoor Advertising signs (billboards) across the state of Tennessee.
