Help with Trimble Dynamic Control

Anyone have any experience setting up Trimble Dynamic Control for a single base station? I am curious what your configuration looks like, and if you had a problem with post-processing .dat/rinex files not logging. TDC logs the files for about 15 minutes and then it loses the connection with the instrument (receiver) and the logs stop. We are using an R7 receiver, TRIMMARK 3 radio and windows 7 offline computer. Modules added: RTO Single, R7 Receiver, Logging - .dat/rinex

The R7 is connected to the PC by serial to lemo.

The only way to get the log files to start logging again is to reboot the machine.

Thanks.

Will

  • It turns out that the computer was set to sleep after 10 minutes, so the problem with the dat files not logging went away when we turned off the sleep function. TDC is working now.
