Burmese and African Rock Pythons

I was watching the Nat. Geographic Channel last evening, I'm just curious if anyone has thought about the impact of the Burmese or African Rock Pythons to our line of work? It was shown, that when the Burmese Python was placed into a controlled environment in South Carolina, where it's winters are considerably colder than Florida, Georgia or Louisana. However, it was noticed that the cold really has little affect on their movements. They have also been observed to climb 40 feet into the trees. The African Rock Python is known to be aggressive, whereupon the Burmese is like a kitten, in comparison.
