This is Parvaz from Bangladesh. Recently I bought on echo sounder (HOOK 5).I'm trying to export Data on a .sl2 file to the .csv format using Sonar Log Viewer from Lowrance. The data was collected using Lowrance Hook 5.
I can't find any other software wich is capable of converting .sl2 to .csv. I only need to get all the depth data and coordinates out of the .sl2 files.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

  • If you can output your Lowrance data as an LCM (MapCreate format), SLG (Sonar View/Log format), or USR (waypoint format) then you can use Global Mapper (www.GlobalMapper.com) to open them.  It can also create the DTM, contour, shaded maps etc.

You may need to share the file. So I can create a coordinate extractor for your file.
