  • I can't find a drone startup company anywhere....just kidding...talk about market saturation! Ā Someone is gonna be disappointed given some time.

    I'm also seeing a lot of layout attempts from "BIM"...unfortunately the most junior member of any design firm is the CAD operator...garbage in....garbage out. Ā Also layout calcs directly from CAD drawings. Ā This usually means that the point ends up being right in the middle of the proposed location...not at an offset to the side and the contractor usually ends up destroying it right off the bat....and needs it laid out again. Ā So much for saving money.....

    That is a great question to ask the community. Ā As much of what we know to be trending comes from Magazines and trade rags. Ā I wonder what the surveying community believes to be the top geospatial trends.

    I'll ass Ā aerial surveying and mapping as a new trend.
