  • Simon,

I am interested in a GPS RTK unit that will operate on my state (North Carolina) network system. The new technology with these RTK units seem to be that they can now tilt and they seem to be able to get closer to trelines, etc.  This is really cool. I have seen some very reasonablle prices for the Chinese equippment but I must admit I am a little nervouse as I feel I would be sacrificing service and what would I do if I needed repair work? The question becomes am I gambling by saving money up front? Could you comment on this?

    Thank you.
