Learning GPS

I am looking for a way to learn GPS surveying and feel more confident with the data I provide. I am just getting into using GPS and would like to find some resources to learn. We are using leica RTK network. I would really like to use it for running benchmarks. How does everyone else learn to use it?

I HIGHLY suggest that you invest in taking a seminar or course that are typically offered throughout the country. GPS technology is a wonderful tool but it is just as dangerous. It is extremely easy to input an incorrect setting or assume the wrong thing and end up providing your client with completely false data. No forum will be able to help you, you must read some books on it or take a seminar or 3.....I would highly suggest reading some of Jan Van Sickle's books.

Welcome to the community... I am assuming you have already begun looking through our extensive library of GPS surveying videos... last i looked there were over 220 videos

There is also a GPS hub with forum  for asking questions specifically.... you can learn a lot by simply exploring the site.. hope this helps..
