Hello everybody,I need suggestion here. I'm using a Nikon DTM 330 total station. Currently, I'm using TransIt software (yes, quite old one) to download the stored data. I can't find an updated driver to upgrade the software so i can download my field data using an USB cable.Any suggestion? Thanks in advance..

Would you care to share with us where you found it?

    • Hello,

I am have a similar question.  I have an old version of TransIT software and it does not seem to read an example raw data file from my Nikon DTM520.  Did you successfully find a copy of the TransIT software or another software package that allows downloading of the files?

i believe this was outlined on this conversationhere on the Nikon group
  • does anyone know where i can download the TransIt software?
  • Hello Terence, Amazon.com has a USB-RS232 Serial Port adapter with the driver for it. It cost $29.75. The adapter brand is Keyspan. Trimble also has a free data transfer program Data Transfer which you can use to transfer data between your computer and the Nikon.
I am new with my Nikon NPR 362. I am a student and am setting things up. So this is as far as I am with the set up. I need your help since you seem to be familiar with your Nikon. I just purchased my Nikon and am not familiar with the onboard software. Can you email me the step by step of how to set my Nikon up with my PC. What buttons do I need to press on my Nikon for my PC to send point files to my Nikon of vice versa. How do you transfer your data to each other step by step?
Thanks for your help. I hope I was able to help you with the USB-Data Port connection
You can email me at [email protected] also.
