I have seen people visit surveyors to get a favor other than proper survey of their case but a proper survey should get the same results,if there is a difference then we have to deside who is good or bad!!

  • Hi Lalith, What kind of Favor, would they be getting.Surveyors must be equal to every one. Your survey is  only evidence,  of what you found, at lease, here in the US.If there is a conflict ,the two land owner, must work this out are they will in up in court, that's where many cases end up, I am assuming that you are not talking about how good some one work is.But how honest this person is,a surveyor is to determine the boundary between to people that does not mean this is the boundary ,the two or whatever how many owner, must agree to these boundary lines, wall ,fence or none at all. what ever a dishonest surveyor does can catch up to him,Because he is not the only one,Surveyors should tell their Friends no,because there is a conflict of interest to him in doing to job, this way no one can say , You where not Honest, you where for them.Because,of the relationship. This can come out in the court room, But that is part of who you are as a surveyor, Being dishonest , for what ever reason,  is not what our founders of the first land surveyors, were known for, most were known as being a honest person. We have 4 presidents carved in a mountain side, 3 of they were Surveyors and they were all considered to be honest and a good person. People have always  trusted Surveyors to divided the land and to be honest about it.Who the land owner is should make no different where he sets his markers, that is a good Surveyor."Remove not the ancient landmarks which thy fathers have set" Proverbs 22:28   This is what you change no matter what religion, you use, this is the surveyors Golden Rule, you cannot change what has been placed in the past. Then everything done in the past is lost. That is what makes a good Surveyor, and write this own your wall,
