  • hello

I'm not work yet wit topcon stations but principly this is like on others stations. First you must hawe ponts recorded on field or inported (keyed in) in station. Next is if your statin hawe software for calculating area to select that option someware in menus :) when yu start that software you need to select or import point froam instrument memory. Be cerful on calculating figure mus be closed :) start point must be end point.

A free station is method when you level your instrument on random place. For determing coordinates of that station you must see two points wit knows coordinates. Then you must take mesurments on that points and programticly station will calculate free station. Method of calculating this is resection back (two points) and if you hawe mor than two points then is method is resection foward (i learn this in my colage). If you are interest in learning this proces step by step please feel free to ask.

    I hope I'm wass helpfull

    Sory for my bad english

    Best regards Bojan Petkovic
