Hello Surveyors,

I have been using a topcon hyper v gps for a few weeks doing rtk survey with no problems. However a few days ago the base receiver could not track the satellites even if it was on the whole day. I tried clearing the navram but no success. Any Surveyor who uses this equipment and has experienced the same problem can help a fellow Surveyor.

Regards,

E. Munene

factory reset would solve the issue...hope you hsd done the board and firmware upgrade since the gps rollover dates

  • We had a Topcon base receiver that was set to store raw data, but never was dumped and erased.  The day its memory filled up, it stopped working.  That would be the first place to look.

I would try to update your software, firmware and your powerboard if you have not done that already. Also try doing a hard reset.
