  • Hello Jazu,

I would find out from your client what the requirements are. What is the scope of your project? What is the reason for the survey? Are they adding? Building new? Proposed study?

I've collected information on power lines, it is not unlike other surveys, you just have to know what information your client needs. I've collected center of pole by offset, down guy anchors, overhead location by plumming, overhead structure using reflectorless, overhead connections by reflectorless, centerline of transmission corridor by calculation, line to structure connections, apparent lowest sag....

Find out what is needed and go collect your data using well practiced survey methods!

    You can do it friend!

Let me know it turns out,

    Paul
