Our forums on Land Surveyors United are here to be used as much for finding help with problems in the field as the are for you to express your opinions on anything that has to do with land surveying in general. Feel free to share anything that is on your mind, as long as it isn't meant to damage another member's reputation. Please keep it clean and help insure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of being part of a community that grows together.
We are committed to allowing freedom of expression for all of our members, and that includes maintaining a safe space for people with opposing views to express themselves. We get posts from all over the country and even the globe, so needless to say, people come with different viewpoints on lad surveying practices and processes. maybe a poll is in order for a dedicated page as you mentioned for jobs and such
You're exactly right and I appreciate your suggestion. As a matter of
fact I post new jobs everyday in the middle of the front page along
with industry news and on the right hand sidebar. If you like I can
add an entire new page to the site with ongoing feed of available
jobs. As for equipment, there is a classifieds section which I have
added to the site where you can post your items for free. Feel free
to invite any surveyor you know who might be interested in jumping in
to LSU. Hope this helps...let me know what you think...also, if you
have a moment go into the forum and post this email under suggestions
and feedback and ill respond..perhaps the location of jobs section and
classifieds aren't as easy to find as I thought
