Just want to let you know about people out there who are less than honest. Last November i paid down on a totalstation, never got it, but got an empty box.
I was told that i will get a replacement, NEVER DID.
Now i am waiting on a refund but have yet to receive it. JUST BE CAREFUL.
look out for www.thesurveywarehouse.com NO GOOD SERVICE! they are out of the UK.

FYI....A lot of scams running online are said to be out of the UK. Even if you are able to call or email back and forth with individuals, it still could be a scam, especially if they want you to forward payment through Western Union.

Hey all, at this point, I have basically, used this as a learning experience and have moved on.. I emailed the owner, and his reply was that he was going to sue me, because I was 'slandering' his name. So that alone tells you the level of ignorance, that we are dealing with. So again, be careful. Thanks for all the replies.
i couldn't find Horizon either
Wow, that's crazy! Their website says... "We are the Authorised dealer of Horizon Measuring Products based in the North Of England." THE...dealer or an ...dealer? Authorised?<Authorized is the correct spelling. This company is in England and can not seem to type properly in the English Language. I wonder if "Horizon" knows about this website? Is "Horizon Measuring Products" a manufacturer of surveying instruments? Do they have a website? Try Googling Horizon Measuring Products. I did and found no such company.
