Hi everyone, my name is Charles Second from Trinidad and Tobago. I am happy to be a member of this great group of professionals and am looking forward to gaining quite a lot from you all. Also I would like to share a little of my experiences with you all. I have just started using Sokkia instruments to capture data and transfer to my software and I have some challenges. I do hope that some of you will be able to help me develop in this area. I have done quite a bit of boundary surveys so I may be able to share some practical ideas in dealing with disputes. It's great to be here!

Hello Charles, and welcome to LSU.  There are many Sokkia users here and support for the software is available here as well.  Does Trinidad / Tobago have a professional society for land surveyors?
    • Thank you, I am honored to be here amongst such great people.

There is a professional surveyors society in Trinidad and Tobago, which is The Institute of Surveyors of Trinidad and Tobago. I am a member of this institute.

Charles, do you think that others in the Institute would be interested in joining?  If you answer "yes" then it may be to your benefit to create a group here on LSU for Trinidad & Tobago.  I just helped Ignacio Garcia create the Mexico group, so you can count on me to help you, too.
