How to use Forums
Our forums on Land Surveyors United are here to be used as much for finding help with problems in the field as the are for you to express your opinions on anything that has to do with land surveying in general. Feel free to share anything that is on your mind, as long as it isn't meant to damage another member's reputation. Please keep it clean and help insure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of being part of a community that grows together.
We are committed to allowing freedom of expression for all of our members, and that includes maintaining a safe space for people with opposing views to express themselves. We get posts from all over the country and even the globe, so needless to say, people come with different viewpoints on lad surveying practices and processes. We see this diversity and variety as a real strength-- dialogue and debate are an integral part of the educational process, as well as an important tool in exploring different sides of complex issues.

Angboola,
Did you solve this problem or do you need further explanation?

File / System Configuration / System / Max objects
Or just type "System" at the command prompt.
Hope this tread is still going on.
I've tried changing Max objects and Max Alpha pts to more than 8,000,000 and it doesn't seem to allow it.
Does anyone knows how to do it?
I have my max objects set to 9,000,000, but I have my Max Alpha pts set fairly low. I don't use alpha points except for a few that are created by the data collector software during GPS base setup. Perhaps it's the large Alpha value that's causing the problem.
Thanks Danny, Jerry and George Yerion, but I have tried this before and it did not work.
Below is the screen/message that I get when I try to open the .pro file.
Any other suggestions.
This variable is stored in the P3Server.ini file and is not file dependent. Change it before you open the file.
I run Windows 8.1 with no problem. Perhaps the .ini file was changed during an update or re-installation of Terramodel.
I am running the terramodel 10.4 on windows8. Could that be the problem. On windows 7 it works well.

Agboola
Hmm until someone comes along with a better idea, i have attached a Terramodel guide which may be of great use to you. And also here are some files which may come in handy. Good Luck!
Thanks Survenator,
Will study to see if I can find the solution.
