I remember that when I was a student, one of the assignments for the class was to map the facilities of the campus.  This seemed like a daunting task.  It was not easy.  We students were paired like a survey crew had to use a total station to make all the measurements of the college building and surrounding utilities, pavement, sidewalks, etc.  It was a great exercise, which was repeated every semester by all of the students in the class.  So, it goes without saying, that the professor had a great amount of samples to compare to ours.  I did well enough, and so did most of the class.  Don't be worried, just gather the data and use the software that your school has to map it.  That's all.

Not really sure what you are asking here Amole. Would you like to edit your post and give us more detail about the context of the question?

Yes Amole, your question is quite vague and also it is not good practice to put your email address out in a public forum.  If you would like help with this, you need to be more specific about what you are asking.
