From a surveyor's standpoint, it is very strange to learn that as one of the leading civil/survey/mapping package, Autodesk Civil 3D FBK does not support resection command. There is no command entry for Resection. It was confirmed by James Wedding from Autodesk that resection is indeed not supported. Any ideas why Autodesk does not mind to support it?

perhaps these might be of help:
and maybe this site can help: http://www.cadapps.com.au/16.html
    • FBK 2011 still does not support Resection. TDS Raw offers much better command file structure. TDS Raw to FBK conversion is not a good idea when Resection command is onboard. CADApps Stringer Connect does not offer 100% FBK conversion. This is a big frustration and that's why I was forced to have created my own utility. I don't know if other surveyors employing same technologies do have same problem.
