Where are you surveying?

Student Surveyor

Introduction:

Hey everybody and Happy Thanksgiving.

I am a 43 year old civil engineering student who recently has finished the survey portion of my degree plan. I loved it. I now wish to pursue a job in surveying. I completed my survey classes with top grades. These classes included intro to surveying, surveying, land law 1, land law 2. Being raised on a cattle ranch I have a natural liking for the outdoors. I'm from Oklahoma, but would like to travel. I'm single and my children are grown. Some of my other skills include excellent auto-cad skills and good understanding of the GIS program. My math skills are very good. Would greatly appreciate any input. And one more thing, I'm glad to be a member of like minded people.

Welcome to the network Clint! Ā You'll find that joining and asking questions/start discussions inside group forums dedicated to the subjects that you are most interested in (for example the GIS groupĀ or the Oklahoma land surveyors group) you will get targeted feedback on your topics as members of groups are also interested or familiar with your topic... Ā the getting started guideĀ explains this well, i believe.

We look forward to all that you have to share with us and any feedback on how to make the community more helpful is always appreciated. Ā Enjoy and good luck networking!
