Quick Tip for Editing Your Content on the Network

How to Easily Edit Your Content on LSU

This is a quick tip for editing your existing content shared on Land Surveyors United.  Let's say for example that you have a video that you uploaded or embedded from youtube, but you forgot to add tags or a geolocation.  After publishing the item it has been given a URL something like this:

http://landsurveyorsunited.com/video/promark-3-initial-setup-by-ashtech

Now if you simply attach  /edit to the end of this URL you will be taken to the page where you can edit all of the information including description, title, geolocation, subject tags, etc.  The URL would look like this:

http://landsurveyorsunited.com/video/promark-3-initial-setup-by-ashtech/edit

Remember that you can only edit the content that you add yourself to the network and that subject tags are very important!   This quick tip can be used on ANY TYPE of content you add to Land Surveyors United, including photos, forum posts, blog posts, etc.  So let's all do our best to make our content that we share both helpful and findable by our fellow surveyors on the network, by editing our content to be very descriptive and topic oriented.
