Share Your Surveying Stories from the Field in a New Way!

Actually, i should have said that you can now add blog posts (aka Stories) to Land Surveyors United using several compatible 3rd party apps and browser add-ons, when off of the network.  First, I will show you a few apps that will work and then I will explain how to set up Scribefire inside your browser so that you can publish storiesto the network with ease.

3rd Party Apps Compatible with Land Surveyors United

We're extremely excited to announce our support for the MetaWeblog API  for Land Surveyors United Network. This new enhancement will allow members of LSU to compose and edit blog posts using popular 3rd-party applications.

Here are a few suggested applications across multiple platforms:

Browser Extension: ScribeFire
Alternate Browser: Flock

How to Set Up Scribefire for Google Chrome

Configure Scribefire

Getting started is easy. When the application prompts you to set up your blog, simply enter your blog's name (you can enter whatever you'd like) and the following for the URL: http://landsurveyorsunited.com/profiles/blog/list. Once prompted, log in with your e-mail address and password for that network. That's it!
