Did you know? (Service Tips)
- If your Trimble Geodimeter Series 600 or 5600 displays an "Internal Memory Battery Expired" message, the internal memory backup batteries must be replaced as soon as possible or you risk the loss of the Firmware, BIOS, Hex Files, Customer Settings, Instrument Constants and Offset Values. Battery life is three (3) years from the date of installation.
- Trimble offers Extended Warranty Coverage for up to five years for most or their equipment. Contact your local Duncan-Parnell Representative for details.
- Batteries should be removed from a device if it will not be used for one week or longer.
- Devices should not be left on a charger longer than the manufacturer's full charge specification.
- Floor stabilizers should always be used to prevent damages to instrument from tipping when setting up on a slippery surface such as concrete. Please check out Duncan-Parnell's selection of Floor Stabilizers starting at only $96.
