Meet "Box Closed" Benny

Meet "Box Closed" Benny
"Box Closed Benny" was a well-respected land surveyor in West Africa, but one thing that he absolutely could not overcome was his disgust for green surveyors. He took pride in his work and had a reputation for being meticulous and detail-oriented. However, he had one pet peeve that drove him crazy: leaving the instrument box open after pulling out the instrument. Benny would come unglued anytime he saw an open box and when he did, he would begin twisting his arm behind his back, attempting to maintain composure

Benny had obsessive-compulsive disorder, and the sight of an open instrument box triggered him. He couldn't help but walk all the way back to the instrument to close the box, no matter how far away he was. It was a compulsion he couldn't control.

Benny's crew knew about his obsession, and they often joked about it. They would intentionally leave the box open just to see Benny's reaction. It was a harmless prank, and Benny took it in good humor. But deep down, he couldn't help but feel annoyed by new surveyors who didn't share his attention to detail.

One day, a very frustrated Benny was working on a surveying project with a team of new surveyors. They were setting up the total station on a tripod, and Benny was overseeing the operation. As he watched the surveyors work, he noticed that one of them had left the instrument box open. Those who knew him were on high alert because they could see he was angry.

Benny tried to ignore it, but he couldn't. His OCD kicked in, and he found himself walking back to the instrument to close the box. The surveyors looked at him quizzically, wondering why he was so fixated on closing the box.

Benny tried to explain his obsession, but the surveyors didn't understand. They thought he was being too particular and that he should focus on the bigger picture. Benny was offended by their lack of attention to detail and their cavalier attitude towards their work.

In the end, Benny completed the surveying project with his usual precision and accuracy. But he couldn't shake the feeling that new surveyors just didn't take their work seriously enough. To him, leaving the instrument box open was a sign of laziness and sloppiness. And that was something he couldn't tolerate.

Each Surveyor has a Story to Tell

These Surveyors Do Not Exist is an AI experiment for exploring the perceptions that AI has of land surveyors and how it will change over time as new models are updated and integrated.   We expect a lot of things to improve such as better depictions of the actual equipment used in the field, hopefully an increased understanding that land surveyors are not astrologers or astronauts.  It is also our hope that as AI learns more about the importance of land surveyors to civilization, the general public will also become more education.   Please feel free to roast any of our Surveyors that Do not Exist in the comments and by all means, share your AI created images with us here.
