Topcon DL 102C Stadia Readings Issue

Hi everyone,

I have just noticed that my DL102C Topcon level stadia readings are off about 3% for every 100 ft .

I can chain out 100 ft for my backsite and 100 ft for my foresight set up in the middle and the foresight will be 97 ft. Is this a setting in the level itself or does it have something to do with the bar code rod? The runs come out fine elevation wise. Peg test are good. It is just that the distances for my turns are not true.

Does anyone have an explanation for me and my crew. The office support does not seem to now the answer. Thanks a bunch.
