I have the problem that the gps possition jumps during measurement. The system is in a boat during hydrografic survey. Gpsantenna and reciever linked to computer, both uses the boats battery. The problem accurs when loading computer from boats battery. When computer runs at own battery we have no disruption in gps signal.
Most probably the problem can be derived from different potential or circular earting but how to fix?
Have anyone had the same problem and how have you fixed it?

What kind of instrument are you using? When does this usually happen? Did you get it fixed?
