The Nikon DTM-400 Series Total Station has Dual display (large 4-line), dual-axis compensation, 30x telescope, on-board memory (2,000 points), alpha-numeric keyboard, lumi-guide....what's not to like?!! The DTM-400 series represented the beginning of the modern era in total station design by Nikon. Sophisticated software and electronic technology combines with superior Nikon optics and ease of operation to produce one great instrument. Angles are read to 1" (2" accuracy) and distances can be measured up to 11,800 feet with a triple prism. Built-in programs include station set-up, XYZ measurement, RDM, stakeout, REM, and COGO calculation; of course, a standard RS232 data port allows you to connect to an external data collector, or to download data to your PC.
