Your Bio: Please tell other members why you are here:
I started working in the field for my uncles firm when I was 19 in 1999 and continued to work under his firm until 2004. I have experience working in the field and conducting research in Harris and Galveston counties under the direction of an RPLS. I was bit by the survey bug at a young age but life happened and I found another career in the book business. I was bit once again by the bug in 2020 and I've been studying land surveying practices and procedures ever since. I am currently studying the CST level I exam and plan to take the CST test in October 2024. I start CAD courses in the fall of 2024 to focus on a civil drafting certification. I'm currently studying Frank A. Stamper’s A Handbook for Texas Abstractors and Title Men. I'm interested in the History of Houston and Harris county surveying specifically in the NSBB and SSBB subdivisions and additions.
