Topcon DM-S2 repair

I have an older Topcon DM-S2 EDM that I am attempting to restore.  The previous owner attempted to remove the yoke by drilling out some screws near the yoke bearing.  Does anyone know the correct way to remove the yoke from the housing?   Or, does someone have a repair manual or page from the repair manual that explains how to remove the yoke?  Thanks.
